International Cultural Academy Concludes Participation in the Founding Conference on Digitizing the Kurdish Language in Dresden

Dresden, April 26, 2025 — Represented by Dr. Media Sheikha, Director of the Office of Literature and Critical Studies at the International Cultural Academy and representative of the European Center for Development and Geostrategic Studies (ECDA) in Germany, the Academy successfully concluded its participation in the Founding Conference on Digitizing the Kurdish Language, held at the Kulturhaus in Dresden on April 25–26, 2025.

The two-day event gathered leading academics, intellectuals, technology and programming specialists, as well as Kurdish writers from all parts of Kurdistan, alongside Kurdish and German political figures. The conference focused on exploring mechanisms to integrate the Kurdish language into the digital age and to develop the knowledge and technological infrastructures necessary to strengthen its presence on global technological platforms.

The International Cultural Academy extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Media Sheikha for her distinguished efforts and outstanding contributions in representing the Academy at this international forum. Her intellectual and academic input further reinforced the role of the Kurdish language within the global cultural and academic landscape.

 #الاكاديمية الثقافية الدولية متمثلة بالدكتورة ميديا شيخه مديرة مكتب الأكاديمية الثقافية الدولية للآداب والدراسات النقدية ،وممثلة المركز الأوروبي للتنمية والدراسات الجيوستراتيجية (ECDA) في ألمانيا ، تنهي مشاركتها في أعمال المؤتمر التأسيس لرقمنة اللغة الكردية والذي انعقد في مبنى kulturhaus في درسدن الألمانية وذلك على مدار يومي 26.25 أبريل 2025 ، وقد جمع هذا الحدث النوعي نخبة من الأكاديميين،والمثقفين ،والمختصيين للتكنولوجيا والبرمجة، بالإضافة إلى الكتاب الأكراد من جنوب وشمال وشرق وغرب كردستان والشخصيات السياسية الكردية والألمانية، وذلك بهدف بحث آليات إدماج اللغة الكردية في العصر الرقمي، وتطوير بنى تحتية معرفية وتقنية تدعم حضورها في المنصات التكنولوجيا العالمية.

تتقدم الأكاديمية الثقافية الدولية بجزيل الشكر والتقدير للدكتورة ميديا شيخه على جهودها النوعية، ومساهماتها المتميزة في تمثيل الأكاديمية في هذا المحفل الدولي، وعلى ما قدمته من إضافات فكرية وأكاديمية عززت من حضور اللغة الكردية في المشهد الثقافي العالمي.
