ICA Concludes Active Participation in the Founding Conference of the Union of Kurdish Lawyers and Jurists in Germany

Bonn, June 28, 2025 — Represented by Dr. Media Sheikha, Head of the Office of Literature and Critical Studies at the International Cultural Academy and representative of the European Center for Development and Geostrategic Studies (ECDA) in Germany, the Academy successfully concluded its active participation in the Founding Conference of the Union of Kurdish Lawyers and Jurists in Germany, held in Bonn.

The landmark event brought together a distinguished assembly of Kurdish and European legal, social, and political figures, alongside representatives of civil society organizations. The conference featured keynote speeches in which guest speakers voiced their full support for the newly established Union, affirming their readiness to collaborate in the service of justice, the promotion of integration, the advancement of legal awareness, and the defense of civil rights.

The International Cultural Academy extends its sincere appreciation to the Union for its efforts, and expresses gratitude to Dr. Media Sheikha for her outstanding contributions and effective representation of the Academy during this significant event. The Academy wishes her continued success in her mission to strengthen cultural and academic dialogue at both national and international levels.

وقد شكّل هذا الحدث محطة نوعية جمعت نخبة من الشخصيات القانونية، والاجتماعية، والسياسية الكوردية والأوروبية، إلى جانب ممثلي منظمات المجتمع المدني.

شهد المؤتمر سلسلة من الكلمات التي عبّر من خلالها ضيوف الشرف عن دعمهم الكامل لهذا الحدث النخبوي، مؤكدين استعدادهم للتعاون مع الاتحاد من أجل خدمة قضايا العدالة، وتعزيز الاندماج، ونشر الوعي القانوني، والدفاع عن الحقوق المدنية.
