Dialogue of "Asylum in Literary Works" Event

On Saturday, 2024.4.20, the International Cultural Academy held a dialogue under the title of "Asylum in Literary Works" (The Biography of War and Geography) attended by a group of interested writers and poets. The event was held at the Baghdad Cultural Forum Berlin. The Head of the Baghdad Forum for Culture and Arts - Berlin and editor in chief of Voice of Al -Saalik newspaper delivered an opening speech in which he welcomed the Director of the Department of Arts and Critical Studies of the International Cultural Academy Dr. Media Sheikha for her organization and management of the dialogue symposium on asylum literature in literary works and the biography of war and geography, and then welcomed the public and welcomed the writers and novelists participating and highlighted their distinguished literary works.



Then, the director of the Department of Arts and Monetary Studies, Dr. Media Sheikha, spoke about the need to highlight the literature of asylum in exile, the biography of war and the simulation geography of the reality of immigration throughout history and other targeted topics, and through it she welcomed her guests:

-The writer and novelist, Professor Bilal Al -Barghouth, and recounted the title of his novel "Three Refugees and a Half", and also welcomed the writer and novelist Nada Al -Khawam and reading her participation in the novel "Betrayals with French Flag", and then the symposium was opened by discussing important points of asylum literature with the writer and novelist Bilal Al -Barghout and his novel "Three" Refugees and a Half ", including his presentation of cases of trafficking in human organs and extremist terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda and its role in asylum matters also touched on politics and its important role in the narrative work" Three and a half refugees ", and the novel was discussed in detail as a theatrical performance in a single diary with" Malas Brothers"and what are the additions of The text on paper and acting on the ground. The events of the Syrian refugee in the novel began after Syria was subjected to war, destruction, ruin, martyrs and the path of blood, as the dialogue took place with the writer and novelist Nada Al -Khawam about her novel "Betrayalsy with a French flavor" and about the presence of Baghdad and the Arab refuge in the novel in addition to the evocation of the influence of the language of the French poet Bodlaire on the texts of "Betrayals with French Flavor" and the features of asylum literature that were included under its framework and the content, not to mention the extent of the impact of the place and the suburbs on its works, and the end of the need to characterize the refugee and alienation through this work and is this image permanent or is it under transformation and change according to the country The original and Germany. Then the session started with the literary readings paragraph of the texts of the two novels, which varied with interactive creativity with the audience, and the doctor managed the symposium dealing with the contributions and visions of constructive critical critical and with the participation of distinguished personalities such as Dr. Amani Al -Saifi, writer, researcher and lecturer at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Humpel University and member of the Board of Directors of the Ibn Rushd Foundation for Free Thought.
